Social structure
Ancient china's social structure
In ancient China their social structure ranges from Emperors and the royal dynasty(top) to women, who had no respect at all(bottom). The social structure of course starts with women at the bottom, then merchants, soldiers and slaves above it. Then comes workers and tradesmen. Next are the peasants, which sounds strange but were respected for keeping the Chinese people alive by growing the crops to feed others. Then comes the Nobles, Scholars and Priests who were rich, powerful and smart which gained them a lot of respect. Finally we have the Emperor and the royal dynasty, as mentioned before.
